Key Features
The MISSION 1 PRO Grip Edition from GoPro equips you with the 8K compact cinema camera and a point-and-shoot grip for single-handed operation. The camera boasts a compact size but delivers cinema-quality footage. The grip functions as both a handle and a cage.
GoPro MISSION 1 PRO
Taking cine characteristics and squeezing them into an action camera form factor, the GoPro MISSION 1 PRO features a 50MP 1" image sensor and GP3 processor to easily capture up to 8K30 and 4K120 OpenGate video. Dedicated low-light capture and a wide 14-stop dynamic range make for efficient image capture in any environment. A 159° field of view and enhanced zooming modes ensure you don't miss any of the action. Other updates include improved battery life and thermal performance for increased dependability.
GP3 Processor & 1" Image Sensor
The new GP3 processor and increased 1" image sensor work in tandem with one another for sharper footage with faster frame rates. The MISSION 1 series delivers twice the pixel processing power over other GoPro models for natural, cinematic video and minimal noise in low-light or night applications. Quad Bayer mode unlocks 2x video zoom and 12MP mode in 4K shooting scenarios.
8K & 4K Open Gate
The MISSION 1 series easily captures Open Gate footage, a taller 4:3 video frame than other capture modes. Open Gate is available in both 8K30 and 4K120 resolutions for more flexibility in editing, reframing, and content delivery.
50MP Raw Photo Capture
Take up to 50MP 12-bit raw photos or use Quad Bayer mode and shoot 12MP raw with dual gain for brighter final products. Other photo modes include interval and burst shooting, ensuring you don't miss any of the action.
Smarter AI Algorithms
An advanced Neural Processor Unit with 4x the processing power operates real-time subject detection for objects and people. The NPU also enhances sharpness and reduces noise to keep your footage crisp and clean.
HyperSmooth Stabilization
The MISSION 1 series HyperSmooth protocol features fine-tuned performance for action sports and underwater activities. AutoBost adjusts your shot based on speed and movement, while Horizon Lock keeps your footage level even when rotating a full 360°.
Comprehensive Audio Capture
Four built-in microphones easily capture stereo 32-bit float audio and adjust for unforeseen disturbances using wind noise reduction. Additional automatic gain control allows for precise limiting. Connect a USB-C or wireless audio device using the onboard port or via Bluetooth in tandem with the GoPro Wireless Mic Transmitter.
Intelligent Shooting Modes
Internal creative modes like Dive, Vlog, and Low Light use advanced algorithms and neural libraries to achieve your creative vision. These tools help with noise reduction, subject tracking, and facial recognition. Create a customized carousel of your most-used modes for easy swapping between.
Dive Deeper
The MISSION 1 series cameras are waterproof down to 66' for seamless underwater capture without requiring a specific housing. A water-repelling lens cover actively sheds moisture to keep your view unobstructed while eliminating lens flares.
Freeze the Moment
Slow motion has received a huge boost with the MISSION 1 series. Choose between 4K240 for 8x slow motion, 1440p480 for 16x slow motion, or even 1080p960 for Burst Slo-Mo capturing 10 seconds of up to 32x.
More Enhanced Features
Faster Transferring & Unlimited Cloud Backup
Transfer content via Wi-Fi 6 to the cloud for more reliable offloads. Use the USB-C port for a wired connection option or an SD card to transfer content to a computer. Unlimited cloud storage can be accessed with a GoPro subscription; just plug your camera in when connected to your home Wi-Fi.
GoPro Quik App
Easy-to-use tools allow you to edit your footage, tweak automatically generated highlight videos, or make your own videos from scratch. Change digital lenses after recording, zoom in on the best frames, and create thumbnails for your next social media post or YouTube video. Wirelessly upload video to your Quik app without needing to use the USB-C connection on the camera. Create presets of your go-to settings for easy recall.
Improved Battery Life
A higher-capacity, tougher 2150mAh Enduro 2 battery can operate your MISSION 1 series camera for up to five hours at a time while recording 1080p30 video. A redesigned thermal management system keeps the camera cooler and running more efficiently in both extreme cold and heat. The battery has fast-charging capabilities, getting you back up and going at 80% in just 27 minutes.
